October 24, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2026, 140,000 residents will return to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Milli Majlis MP Vugar Bayramov said about this at roundtable "Victims of mines in Azerbaijan: achievements and upcoming tasks".

He noted that in 2025 the process of the Great Return will be carried out very actively.

"For this reason, clearing the territories of mines is an extremely important issue. About 1.5 million mines have been installed on the territory of Azerbaijan. Only in Fuzuli district, represented by me in the Milli Majlis, the number of mines is approaching 80 thousand," the MP stressed.

Bayramov added that this problem poses a serious threat to the life and everyday life of the population.
