March 10, Fineko/abc.az. By order of Science & Education Minister Emin Amrullayev, Samir Babayev has been appointed the director general of the Karabakh University Clinic, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Karabakh University.

Babayev received medical education at the Azerbaijan Medical University in 2001-2003 and at Istanbul University in Turkey in 2003-2007. In 2009-2013, he continued his residency studies at the New York Medical College of the USA, and in 2013-2016, he completed an advanced training program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

In addition, for about 20 years he worked in senior positions at New York Medical College, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and the Mayo Clinic (Minnesota).
