April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Persons living in the occupation-liberated territories and enrolled in state, municipal and private professional educational institutions for academic years 2025/2026, 2026/2027 and 2027/2028, as well as those studying in these institutions on a fee-based basis, will study at the expense of the State Budget.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the amendments to the Law on Education approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

Relevant amendments have also been made to the Law on Vocational Education.

The law comes into force on September 15, 2025.
