May 13, Fineko/abc.az. The government of Uzbekistan will release a pilot version of HUMO stablecoin, pegged to the Uzbek sum (1:1000) and backed by sovereign bonds.

ABC.AZ informs that the project is being implemented as part of the strategy for introducing blockchain technologies into the financial sector and complies with current crypto regulation.

Asterium and Brabus will act as technical partners, and the HUMO infrastructure covers 35 million users. If successful, the platform can be used for digital public services.
