June 2, Fineko/abc.az. Public holidays begin in Azerbaijan from this week.

ABC.AZ reports that, according to the norms of working hours and the production calendar, June 6 and 7 - Gurban Bayrami, June 15 - National Salvation Day, and June 26 - Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Since June 7 falls on Saturday, according to the Labor Code and resolutions of the Cabinet Ministers, with a five-day working week, June 9 will also be a non-working day.

Thus, due to the Eid al-Adha holiday, 4 consecutive days - June 6, 7, 8, and 9 - are days off.

Also, June 16 will be a non-working day, as June 15 falls on Sunday.

There are 13 non-working days this month, including Saturday and Sunday.
