June 3, Fineko/abc.az. The retirement age of women in Azerbaijan will rise again in July.

According to Article 7 of the Law on Labor Pensions, the age limit for women with at least 25 years of insurance experience is increased by 6 months annually, starting from July 1, 2017 and until July 1, 2027.

ABC.AZ informs that the last time the retirement age for women was raised from July 1, 2024 by 6 months to 64 years. Its validity at the age of 64 expires on June 30, 2025.

And from July 1, 2025, the age of women eligible for work pension will increase to 64 years and 6 months.

Finally, next year, starting from July 1, 2026, the retirement age of men and women in Azerbaijan will become equal, that is, 65 years.

Starting from July 1, 2021, the retirement age for men with at least 25 years of insurance experience has been set at 65 in Azerbaijan.
