June 11, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-May 2025, 979,900 foreign citizens visited Azerbaijan (1% more versus Jan-May 2024).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Tourism Agency, that 244,000 foreigners and stateless persons visited the country this May alone.

The indicator is 2% more than in May 2024, and 7.1% more than in April of this year.

Top 10 of countries in terms of the number of tourists who visited Azerbaijan for Jan-May 2025:

Russia – 241,100

Turkey – 173,400

India – 104,400

Iran – 84,200

Georgia – 43,000

Kazakhstan – 35,000

Saudi Arabia – 28,500
