June 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has revealed the fact of providing payment services without an appropriate license, obtained in accordance with the procedure established by law.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the CBA that as part of the supervisory measures carried out in accordance with the Law on Payment Services & Payment Systems, it was revealed that Katech OJSC rendered payment services without a license.

In this regard, the measures provided for in Article 51.3 of the Law on the Central Bank and Article 62.10 of the Law on Payment Services & Payment Systems have been taken against the company, including notification of the immediate termination of provision of payment services.
