June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Minister of Science & Education Emin Amrullayev held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Science & Technology of the People's Republic of China Yin Hejong as part of the 2nd Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange, held in Chengdu, People's Republic of China.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Ministry of Education, that during this meeting, the current state and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of science were discussed.

During the meeting, the sides signed a "Letter of Intent on the joint application of the program of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence science between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China" and a "Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China in order to promote the strengthening of mutual cooperation in the field of science, technologies and artificial intelligence" and "Letter of Intent on the joint application of a special program for cooperation in innovative fields."
