June 13, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 5 months, goods worth 23.34 billion manats were sold to consumers through the retail network, including food, beverages and tobacco products - by 13.073 billion manats, and non-food products - by 10.267 billion manats. Compared with Jan-May 2024, retail trade increased by 3.8% in real terms, including 1.6% for food, beverages and tobacco products and 6.5% for non-food products.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that for Jan-May 2025, 51.4% of money spent by customers on goods purchased in a retail chain accounted for foods, 4.6% for beverages and tobacco products, 13.0% for textiles, clothing and footwear, 6.3% for gasoline and diesel fuel, 4.4% - for electrical goods and furniture, 2.6% - pharmaceutical products and medical supplies, 1.2% - computers, telecommunications equipment and printed products, 16.5% - other non-food products.
