June 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, the retail chain sold goods for totally 23.3 bn manats to consumers. Of them, 13.1 bn manats accounted for foods, beverages and tobacco products and 10.3 bn mnats for non-food products.

Compared with Jan-May 2024, retail trade increased by 3.8% in real terms, including 1.6% for foods, beverages and tobacco products and 6.5% for non-food products.

ABC.AZ informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that in the first 5 months of 2025, consumers in Azerbaijan spent 1.65 bn manats on beverages and tobacco products.

For Jan-May 2025, 51.4% of the money spent by customers on goods purchased in the retail chain accounted for the purchase of food, 4.6% - for beverages and tobacco products.
