June 17, Fineko/abc.az. UAE-based Air Arabia and Germany's Lufthansa have announced temporary suspensions of flights to several Middle Eastern and Eurasian countries due to escalating tensions in the region amid the ongoing military conflict between Israel and Iran.
ABC.AZ informs, citing Lufthansa sources, that the German carrier is suspending flights to Tel Aviv (Israel) and Tehran (Iran) until July 31.
Additionally, flights to Amman (Jordan), Erbil (Iraq), and Beirut (Lebanon) have been canceled until June 20.
Air Arabia has similarly announced temporary flight suspensions to five countries: Iran until June 30 inclusive, Iraq until June 30, Jordan until June 20, Russia until June 20, 2025, and Lebanon until June 17, 2025.
