June 19, Fineko/abc.az. In the first quarter of 2025, the money transfers to Azerbaijan totaled $229.5 million, and from Azerbaijan abroad - $112.7 million, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Samir Nasirov, the director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

He said that during the reported term, the largest number of money transfers to Azerbaijan were made from Russia ($85.6 million), Turkey ($39.6 million), the U.S. ($23.3 million), the UK ($8.8 million) and the UAE ($7.8 million).

In terms of the volume of money transfers sent from Azerbaijan during the quarter, Top 5 includes: Turkey ($32.4 million), the U.S. ($18.8 million), Russia ($9.5 million), Georgia ($7 million) and the UK ($28 million).

Thus, the positive balance of money transfers in the 1st quarter of 2025 reached $116.8 million.
