June 19, Fineko/abc.az. The average price of natural gas sold abroad by Azerbaijan has increased compared with last year.

ABC.AZ informs that in the period from January to May 2025, every 1,000 cu m of natural gas in our country was purchased for an average of $373. This is $25 or 7.2% more expensive than $348 registered last year.

10.271 bcm of natural gas were sold abroad from Azerbaijan in the first 5 months of the year, which brought $3.833 billion to the country. Last year, Azerbaijan sold 9.913 bcm of natural gas abroad for $3.451 billion.

Currently, every 1,000 cu m of natural gas in the Dutch hub costs $473.
