June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Qatar Airways became the leader of Skytrax rating for the ninth time, confirming its status as the best airline in the world. The airline also received the titles: "Best Business Class", "Best Airline in the Middle East", "Best Business Class Lounge" and "5-star Airline according to Skytrax".

ABC.AZ reports that Top 10 of the best airlines in the world includes Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, ANA, Turkish Airlines, Korean Air, Air France, Japan Airlines and Hainan Airlines.

Since 2010, AirAsia has retained the title of the best budget airline in the world. Scoot is recognized as a leader in long-haul flights, Eurowings — in Europe, Allegiant Air — in North America, JetSMART - in South America.

Lufthansa was named the most family-owned airline, and Plaza Premium - the best lounge operator. Cathay Pacific was awarded for the best on-board entertainment system.
