June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the countries of the European Union (EU) totaled $9.55 billion.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Customs Committee, the figure is a 27.5% increase versus Jan-May 2024.

In particular, for the past months of this year, the value of Azerbaijan's exports to the EU countries increased by 21.5% up to $7.838 billion, while the value of imports from the EU countries grew by 16.8% up to $1.217 billion.

For Jan-May 2025, the share of EU countries in Azerbaijan's overall exports was 71.2%, and the share in imports - 12.2%.
