June 20, Fineko/abc.az. AzerGold CJSC, which holds the leading position among the main state-owned exporting companies representing the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan, continues its successful activities in order to meet the demand of the domestic market for the highest quality precious metals in addition to export operations.

ABC.AZ informs that in the period from January to May 2025, the joint-stock company sold 3,698 ounces of gold and 8,827 ounces of silver on the domestic wholesale and retail market. This is 171 percent more than last year. Silver sales increased by 17 percent.

In the first 5 months of this year, revenue in the amount of 20.2 million manats was received from sales of precious metals in the domestic market. This is 238 percent more versus Jan-May 2024.

In total, 22,453 ounces of gold and 135,003 ounces of silver were sold in the domestic market during the period of the Company's activity, which brought in revenue of 95.4 million manats.
