June 21, Fineko/abc.az. At today's plenary session, the Milli Majlis adopted in the 3rd reading a draft law on amendments to the Law on the Securities Market.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the amendment, the process of placing shares of state-owned joint-stock companies is being simplified in Azerbaijan.

In compliance with the draft law, in case of acquisition by state bodies, institutions or other joint-stock companies of new shares of state-owned joint-stock companies, all shares owned by the state will be considered placed from the moment of state registration of their issue by the Central Bank.

After discussion, the bill was put to the vote and adopted in the 3rd reading.
