June 25, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has approved the amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Code of Administrative Offences and the Law on Courts & Judges.

ABC.AZ informs that in accordance with the amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure, on the territory of military units and military institutions belonging to the relevant executive authority, the investigation of obvious crimes that do not pose a great public danger, provided for in Articles 329.1, 330.1, 332.1, 332.1-1, 333.1–333.3, 350.1, 350.1-1 and 351.1 of the Criminal Code, committed by military personnel of this body, is conducted by investigators of the relevant executive authority in a pre-trial simplified procedure.

In compliance with the amendments made to the Code of Administrative Offences, an authorized official of the body (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority, which begins proceedings on cases of administrative offences provided for in Articles 610-618 of this Code and committed by military personnel of this body (institution), immediately sends a written notification to the appropriate military prosecutor at the place of commission..

The Head of State also signed a decree in connection with this document.
