September 10, Fineko/abc.az. The teacher recruitment exam (MIQ) in Azerbaijan will become paid.
According to ABC.AZ, discussions on this matter have already been held, and an official announcement is expected soon. The cost of the exam has not yet been determined, but it is reported that certain vulnerable groups will be exempt from payment.
No official statement on the issue has been released so far.
Researcher at the Center for Social Studies on Education, Elmin Nuri, noted that if this matter receives official confirmation, it could lead to criticism from the education community.
“I must admit that such criticism would be fully justified. But for now, nothing has happened in practice, and we hope it will not,” he said. (© Modern.az)
