September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The producer of the legendary mineral water “Borjomi,” IDS Borjomi Georgia, has opened a new factory in Georgia.

According to ABC.AZ, the project became the largest investment in the industry in the entire history of the country’s independence – with a total investment volume of $120 million.

The new plant is located on the site of the company’s former facility in the village of Kvibisi, Borjomi municipality, and covers an area of 48,000 square meters.

In terms of scale and production capacity, it is the largest enterprise in Georgia’s bottling sector. It was noted that at the first stage, the factory will be able to produce up to 750 million bottles annually, and by 2030 – up to 1 billion bottles per year.
