October 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Children in Need of Care will finance the design and construction of a mosque in the city of Fuzuli.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Turkmen media, that a relevant agreement was signed with Turkmen private company Aga-gurluşyk.

The signing ceremony was held on the instructions of Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The construction of a mosque in Fuzuli will be a gift from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan. This was announced earlier by President Ilham Aliyev, noting that the proposal to build a mosque was put forward by Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his visit to Azerbaijan. The architectural sketch has already been prepared and the foundation of the mosque is planned to be laid in the near future.
