October 3, Fineko/abc.az. The prices of sunflower oil in the world jumped up to a three-year high.
ABC.AZ informs that in September they reached $1,312 per ton - the highest value since November 2022. All this is happening amid the collapse in supplies from Ukraine, the largest exporter of this type of oil to the global market, according to the analysis.
In Ukraine, sunflower oil production has fallen by a fifth. As a result, it reduced the delivery of these products abroad: in agricultural year 2024-2025, they reache 4.65 million tons versus 6.03 million tons in the previous season.
