October 6, Fineko/abc.az. The delegation of Azexport portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications held a number of meetings in Ankara and Istanbul with the purpose of expanding Azerbaijan's digital trade opportunities, exploring best practices in the field of e-commerce and innovations.

ABC.AZ reports that the issues of formation of an innovative ecosystem in Turkey, support for startups and the organization of digital transformation processes were discussed durign the meetings.

In Istanbul, the delegation held meetings at such advanced technology centers as the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), the MEXT Technology Center and the Technopark of Istanbul Technical University ARI Teknokent.

Azexport portal’s head Ayhan Gadashov said that Turkey is currently one of the most successful examples of digital transformation in the region. The enterprises and organizations visited are known for their successful activities in the field of industrial technologies 4.0, artificial intelligence, automation and digital production. The aim of Azexport portal is to bring this experience to Azerbaijan, and to widely introduce digital tools for local manufacturers and exporters. The possibilities of cooperation discussed during the meetings in the future will contribute to deepening cooperation between the two countries in the field of e-commerce, innovations and industry.

During the visit, specific agreements were reached to strengthen the digital ecosystem, introduce new platform solutions for exporters, and expand the opportunities for international cooperation on Azexport portal.
