October 8, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2025, the assets of the insurance sector increased by 4.5% (93 million manats) and reached 2.14 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank, that government securities make up 40% of assets (856 million manats), bank funds - 28% (600 million manats), non-government securities - 11% (236 million manats), accounts receivable - 8% (163 million manats).

In the 1st half of this year, sector's liabilities grew by 7.3% (105 million manats) and reached 1.55 billion manats. 73% of liabilities are reserves for insurance premiums, 18% - reserves for insured events, 9% - other liabilities.
