October 8, Fineko/abc.az. Russia is testing the payment for purchases with the use of personal QR code from the National Payment Card System.

ABC.AZ reports that the code is formed in bank's mobile application, shown to the cashier and confirmed for debiting funds through the Quick Payment System. Each QR code is one-time and has expiration date, and users can set a limit for payment without additional confirmation. The pilot is being conducted jointly with banks, including VTB (Russia) and Tochka Bank.
