October 8, Fineko/abc.az. The expansion of financial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany has been discussed.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Finance, that First Deputy Minister Anar Kerimov met with representatives of companies and business circles representing the German financial sector who are on a visit to our country organized by the German-Azerbaijani Foreign Chamber of Commerce.
Issues related to the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the financial sector, the participation of German financial institutions in supporting projects implemented in our country, the exchange of experience in public debt management, and public–private partnership mechanisms were discussed at the meeting.
Kerimov informed the guests about the measures taken in our country to maintain sustainable economic growth, macroeconomic stability and fiscal discipline. It was noted that the Azerbaijani economy maintains positive dynamics of development, the non-oil sector is steadily expanding, achievements in public debt management and high foreign exchange reserves ensure the financial stability of the country. As a result of this policy, significant successes have been achieved in non-oil sectors such as agriculture, information technology, processing industry, logistics, and green energy.
