SOFAZ invested 50 million pounds in London airport

October 9, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has invested 50 million pounds in London Gatwick Airport, ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOFAZ.

The investments were made within the partnership of SOFAZ with investment company Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), part of American company BlackRock.

"Those investments, being one of SOFAZ's most significant infrastructure investments in the European market, once again demonstrate Fund's long-term involvement in global infrastructure projects and commitment to sustainable development," SOFAZ says.
