October 9th, Fineko/abc.az. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expects that most Muslim countries will show interest in investing in the liberated territories, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Ahmad Kawesa Sengendo, Adviser to the OIC Secretary General on Economic Issues.
"As Azerbaijan restores the territories liberated from occupation - the city of Shusha and other regions, we hope that the majority of Muslim countries will invest in their development. Azerbaijan is an important member of the OIC and plays a key role in many areas, actively participates in all major events of the organization and hosts some of them. We are grateful to the Government of Azerbaijan for this cooperation and believe that these ties will further strengthen in the future," he said.
