October 10, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. presidential administration will be able to cope with the consequences of China's export controls on a number of goods.
ABC.AZ reports that U.S. President Donald Trump made the relevant statement on October 9.
"(U.S. Treasury Secretary) Scott (President) and (U.S. Secretary of Commerce) Howard (Lutnik) will deal with it. I'm sure we can do it," Trump said.
Trump also noted that the U.S. already buys a lot of goods from China, and they need to be reduced.
Earlier, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China announced that from November 8, China will introduce export controls on a number of goods related to medium and heavy rare earth elements. This also applies to lithium batteries and anode materials made of artificial graphite, equipment for the extraction and processing of rare earth metals, raw materials and heavy-duty materials.
