October 14, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, residents of industrial parks have saved nearly 11 million manats.

ABC.AZ informs that the press secretary of the Economic Zones Development Agency, Elchin Kazimli, told journalists about this after a forum on the theme "Investing in education for the sustainable development of Azerbaijan" in Baku.

He pointed out that residents of industrial parks operating in the territories liberated from occupation are subject to large tax and customs privileges.

Kazimli noted that by October 1, 2025, residents of the Aghdam Industrial Park and the Araz Valley Industrial Park were provided with 232 supporting documents: "Based on these documents, entrepreneurs saved a total of about 11 million manats as a result of import VAT and customs privileges. In the first 9 months of this year alone, 133 supporting documents were issued, which allowed entrepreneurs to save 4.2 million manats."

He also stressed that residents of industrial parks enjoy great benefits from the date of registration: "Resident entrepreneurs are exempt from property, land and income taxes for a period of 10 years. In addition, VAT and customs duties are not paid when importing machinery, technological equipment and installations imported for production purposes."

According to Kazimli, the benefits and supporting documents provided not only give entrepreneurs important financial advantages, but also serve to stimulate industrial activity in the territories liberated from occupation.
