October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 411 breeding achievements in various plant and animal species in Azerbaijan, 376 breeding achievements are allowed for use in the country, and 35 breeding achievements are registered with patent rights and included in the State Register of Plant Varieties & Hybrids permitted for use and protected by a patent.

ABC.AZ reports that the varieties were tested by the relevant order of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the results were found satisfactory.

Thus, the situation of the state register for 2025 is presented and farmers have access to the list of new and more productive plant varieties and animal breeds in the country.
