October 29, Fineko/abc.az. The Azera Toxumçuluq seed enterprise in the Sabirabad Industrial Zone intends to increase the number of permanent jobs to 20.
ABC.AZ informs that Tural Abdullazade, adviser to the chairman of the Economic Zones DevelopmentAgency, stated about this during a media tour organized following the visit of the president of Azerbaijan to the district.
Abdullazade recalled that Azera Toxumçuluq was registered as a resident of the Sabirabad Industrial Zone in 2021. The company is built using advanced Turkish technologies and is engaged in the production of standard and hybrid seeds.
The production capacity of the enterprise is 500 tons of clover seeds, 800 tons of hybrid corn seeds, 350 tons of hybrid sunflower seeds, 2,000 tons of barley seeds, 2,000 tons of wheat seeds.
The company uses seeds grown in the Sabirabad pilot agropark as raw materials, as well as seeds purchased from small, medium and large farms in the district.
The total cost of the project is 2.5 million manats, and in the future the company will create 20 permanent jobs, mainly for residents of Sabirabad and surrounding areas.
According to Abdullazade, the Sabirabad Industrial Zone was established by a presidential decree in 2017. On its territory of 20.3 hectares, all the necessary infrastructure for business has been created. To date, 8 residents have been registered here. They have invested more than 10 million manats and created over 100 jobs.
