November 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, oil production at oilfield block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) totaled nearly 89 million barrels (i.e. 12 million tons). This figure decreased by 4.3% compared with Jan-Sept 2024, ABC.AZ reports, referring to BP-Azerbaijan.
For Jan-Sept 2025, the average daily oil production at ACG amounted to 327,000 barrels (a year earlier - 339,000 barrels). An average of 21,000 b/d was produced from Chirag platform (for Jan-Sept 2024 – 23,000 b/d), 88,000 b/d (96,500 b/d) from Central Azeri platform, 75,000 b/d (75,500 b/d) from Western Azeri platform. b/s), Eastern Azeri - 43,000 b/d (51,000 b/d), "eepwater Guneshli - 52,000 b/d (57,400 b/d), West Chirag - 24,000 b/d (29,100 b/d), Central Eastern Azeri - 24,000 b/d (6,500 b/d).
On February 18, the ACG Project celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first oil production from Central Azeri Platform. So far, a total of 1.2 billion barrels (155 million tons) of oil have been extracted from this platform.
At the end of the 3rd quarter, a total of 145 oil production wells, 48 water injection wells and 10 gas injection wells were operated at ACG.
During the past 3 quarters of the year, 6 oil-producing, 4 water-injection and 1 gas-injection wells were drilled and finished at ACG.
