November 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of this year, BTC Co. spent approx. $97 million on operating expenses for the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and $50 million on capital expenditures, ABC.AZ reports with reference to BP’s report on the results of Q3 of 2025.
For the same term of 2024, operating expenses amounted to $104 million and capital expenditures - $28 million. Thus, in annual terms, operating expenses decreased by 6.7%, while capital expenditures increased by 1.8%.
From the commissioning of the 1,768 km BTC pipeline in June 2006 to the end of September 2025, a total of nearly 613 million tons (more than 4.6 billion barrels) have been transported through this pipeline crude oil that was loaded onto 6078 tankers in Ceyhan and shipped to world markets.
