November 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy strives to ensure the growth and competitiveness of every entrepreneur in Azerbaijan through national programs and international cooperation.

ABC.AZ reports that KOBIA chairman of board Orkhan Mammadov made this statement at the seminar on the theme "Monitoring of small and medium-sized enterprises in Asia 2025", held in Baku.

He added that small and medium-sized businesses are not just economic organizations, but the "pulse of society" that creates innovations and development.

"In Azerbaijan, we see SMEs as the foundation of inclusive well-being and innovation, a bridge between economic potential and social progress. KOBIA does not believe in isolation, but in partnership. Our goal is for every small business to move forward," Mammadov stressed.

He also noted the productive cooperation between KOBIA and the Asian Development Bank: "ADB has been providing technical and expert support since the first days of the agency's work."
