November 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2026, 3.9 million manats are to be allocated from the State Budget of Azerbaijan for the Institute of Theology, and 9 million manats for the College of Theology.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Finance Minister Himalay Mamishov stated about this at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Youth & Sports, the Committee of Public Associations & Religious Organizations, and the Committee on Culture.

In addition, according to Mamishov, next year it is planned to allocate 14 million manats to the Fund for the Promotion of Spiritual Values (under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations).

"The state pays attention to the religious sphere and aims to increase funds in all areas. Sufficient funds will be allocated for the training of religious personnel and the promotion of religious values," the deputy minister said.
