ABC.AZ reports, quoting MP Vugar Iskenderov as saying this at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committees on Youth & Sports, on Public Associations & Religious Organizations, and on Culture.

"A lot of work is being done in the field of sports under the leadership of the country’s president. Azerbaijan is known as a sports country. It is very important. For example, thanks to the recent victories of the Qarabag football club, the number of search queries for Azerbaijan and even the city of Agdam on the Internet has increased 10-fold. This shows how much positive work the club is doing to promote the country. The issue of benefits for sponsors is still being discussed. In the future, we should find a way to provide sponsors with some benefits," he said.
