November 13, Fineko/abc.az. Global carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels will increase by 1.1% in 2025, to a record of 38.1 billion tons of CO₂, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Global Carbon Budget.

Although China and India are reducing the use of coal and increasing solar and wind energy, the overall growth in oil and gas consumption remains. According to scientists, the Earth has already warmed up by 1.36 °C, and it is becoming almost impossible to contain warming within 1.5 °C.
