November 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2025, the State Budget returned a total of 279.913 million manats to individuals and legal entities.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to Finance Ministry’s report that the returned funds relate to the refunding of VAT paid by foreigners when buying goods for industrial and non-commercial purposes in the country, in the field of retail and catering for individuals, in the field of culture (theaters, cinemas, museums, concerts) and medical care, as well as hotel services on occupation-liberated territories.

In addition, VAT paid for residential and non-residential space purchased in non-cash form from persons involved in the construction of buildings, as well as overpaid other taxes, state duties, interest and financial penalties, were refunded to citizens.
