November 17, Fineko/abc.az. The ranking of the richest cities in the world for 2025 has been published. Tokyo ranks first with GDP of $2.55 trillion. Taipei, with GDP of $867 million, ranks 25th among 300 cities and became the only city in Taiwan to enter Top 100.
ABC.AZ informs that CEOWORLD Magazine's business pages include New York, Los Angeles, London, Seoul, Paris, Chicago, Osaka, San Francisco, and Shanghai from second to tenth.
These 10 cities account for almost a third of global GDP. This shows that economic power is increasingly concentrated in megacities that promote innovation, capital flows, and global competitiveness.
Four of Top 10 cities are located in Asia. Other notable Asian cities on the list are Beijing (11th place), Singapore (16th place), Shenzhen (21st place), Taipei (25th place), Chongqing (26th place), Guangzhou (27th place), Hong Kong (29th place), Nagoya (30th place) and Bangkok (46th place).
