November 20, Fineko/abc.az. It is predicted that next year the total expenditures of the State Social Protection Fund for 2026 will amount to 8.483 billion manats, of which 96.6%, or 8.196 billion manats, are for payments to the population.

ABC.AZ informs that Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev stated this during the discussion of the Bill on the Budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2026 at the plenary session of the parliament. The minister noted that SSPF revenues for 2026 are projected at 8.323 billion manats, which is 705.7 million manats or 9.3% more than the forecast for 2025. It is predicted that in 2026, 79.2% of Fund's revenues, or 6.6 billion manats, will be generated from revenues from Compulsory State Social Insurance (593.7 million manats, or 10% more versus the relevant figure for the current year. Revenues for 2026 for budget-funded organizations are projected at 2.1 billion manats, and for extra-budgetary ones - 4.5 billion manats. Projected incomes in the non-budgetary sector make up 68% of social insurance contributions: "In general, compared with the approved figures for 2025, for 2026, revenues for organizations funded from the budget were projected to increase by 3.6% or 73.4 million manats, and revenues for the extra-budgetary sector by 13.1% or 520.3 million manats. The funds allocated from the State Budget to finance the obligations of the State Budget in order to balance the Fund's budget in 2026 are projected to amount to 1.7 billion manats (100 million manats or 6.3% more than the approved amount for 2025). The share of funds allocated from the State Budget to finance government obligations in the revenues of the SSPF is projected to decrease from 38% in 2017 to 20.4% in 2026. I would like to emphasize that in order to support the State Budget expenditures for the next year, the draft budget of the SSPF for 2026 allocates funds from the reserve created by the Fund in previous years in the amount of approx. 160 million manats for next year's expenses. The total expenditures of the Fund for 2026 are projected at 8.483 billion manats, of which 96.6%, or 8.196 billion manats, are for payments to the population. This figure is 1.534 billion manats more than in 2024 and 788 million manats more than in 2025. Of this amount, 7.993 billion manats account for labor pensions and 203.6 million manats for social insurance benefits."
