November 24, Fineko/abc.az. Alibaba Group shares jumped on Monday after its updated consumer AI application Qwen registered a very strong start in the public beta, sparking renewed investor optimism about its move into the generative artificial intelligence market.
ABC.AZ informs that according to the company, the app was downloaded more than 10 million times within a week of the relaunch.
Company's shares registered in Hong Kong rose by 6% to HK$156.3 as of 10:45 a.m. (Baku time).
In a statement released last week, Alibaba said that Qwen chatbot, powered by the modern Qwen large language model, is now available via mobile devices and the internet, with an international launch planned later.
The application, which can generate complex research reports and multi-page PowerPoint presentations from a single query, has been described by the company as "the best personal AI assistant with the most powerful model».
