December 8, Fineko/abc.az. Head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham Russia) Robert Agee said that large U.S. companies are interested in returning and expanding their work in Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that the lifting of the investment ban is a top priority. Companies that have retained their presence are ready to increase their activities, while those that have left would like to be able to return.

Agee noted that after the change of power in the United States, there were positive signals for dialogue. He expressed hope that President Donald Trump would take into account the interests of American business and ease sanctions. The administration positively received the "White Paper" prepared by the business, a document with proposals for partial lifting of restrictions, which can become the basis for future negotiations.
