Azerbaijan begins realizing Industry 4.0 Training Program

December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The Industry 4.0 Training Program has been launched in Azerbaijan with the support of the Ministry of Economy.

ABC.AZ informs that Anar Narimanov, the head of the Digital Management Department of the Ministry of Economy, made this statement at the international conference on the theme "Intellectual Property & Artificial Intelligence" in Baku on December 3.

According to Narimanov, today Azerbaijan is not only monitoring global technological trends, but also taking the necessary steps to implement and develop them: "In order to accelerate introduction of advanced technologies into industry, increase the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises, implementation of the Industry 4.0 Training Program has begun with the support of the Ministry of Economy. The goal of the program is to accelerate the technological and "green" transformation of companies. The program has already shown positive results at the pilot stage."

Ministry’s representative stressed that an Industry 4.0 Center is being created to further accelerate this transformation:

"The center will serve as a link between industrial enterprises, technology suppliers, universities and the innovation ecosystem, as well as provide practical support for the implementation of technological solutions and research initiatives in this area."
