December 9, Fineko/abc.az. Botaş has extended for one year the contract with Gazprom for the supply of 21.75 bcm of gas via the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream routes.

ABC.AZ informs that Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said that with the extension of the contract, there are no threats to supply security for the country, but it is necessary to move to more competitive prices for the Turkish market. Turkish private companies also import Russian gas under long-term contracts until the 2040s, while competitive price is important.
