Oil production in Brazil gradually recovers after shutdowns

December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Oil production in Brazil began to return to normal after shutdowns at offshore "super platforms" in November, which reduced production by 300,000 b/d and led to a drop in production of around 7% to 3.7 million b/d.

ABC.AZ reports that about a fifth of the lost volume has already been restored.

Experts note that transition to super platforms makes production more vulnerable to sudden fluctuations, but temporary disruptions will not undermine the long-term growth of the oil sector in Brazil and neighboring countries such as Guyana and Argentina.
