January 14, Fineko/abc.az. Henley & Partners, an international consulting company, has published a new global passport index, which ranks countries by the number of countries whose citizens can travel without a visa.

Singapore, the leader of the previous year, retained the 1st place. ABC.AZ informs. The passport of this country allows its holders to visit 192 countries without a visa. The 2nd place was shared by Japan and Korea.

Denmark, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland took the 3rd place.

The Russian passport, which allows visa-free travel to 113 countries, together with the Turkish passport took 46th place. The US passport, which left Top 10 in the world last year, has returned to Top 10 again this year. The Azerbaijani passport ranks 67th in the list and allows visa-free entry to 70 countries.
