January 15, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 10 months of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 20,417 tons of onions for $5.68 million (24% more versus Jan-Oct 2024 in value terms and 3% less in quantity), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported 14,433 tons (-7%) for $3.19 million to Georgia (13% more than 1 year ago), 5,057 tons (+ 4.6-fold) for $2.1 million (+4-fold) to Russia, and 795 tons to Belarus (+36-fold) for $339,000 (+38-fold), and to Ukraine - 131.55 tons (-92%) for $70,700 (-85%).

Of the 21,440 tons of onions exported from Azerbaijan in 2024, 74% accounted for Georgia.
