January 16, Fineko/abc.az. In December 2025, Azerbaijan ranked 86th among 156 countries in terms of the average speed of fixed broadband Internet (88.83 Mbit/s), dropping by 1 position compared to November.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Speedtest Global Index that compared with a year ago (69.15 Mbps), the average speed of fixed broadband Internet in the country increased by 28.5%.

According to this indicator, Azerbaijan was ahead of Turkey (72.17 Mbit/s), Iran (21.33 Mbit/s), Georgia (44.55 Mbit/s), Armenia (80.27 Mbit/s), Kazakhstan (85.71 Mbit/s), Kyrgyzstan (85.40 Mbit/s) and Tajikistan (38.40 Mbit/s).
